また、遠心法ウラン濃縮施設の保障措置構築プロジェクト（HSP）及び大型再処理施設の保障措置構築プロジェクト（LASCAR）に係る国際プロジェクトに携わるとともにIAEAのイラク (1998年)及びイラン特別 (2003年 2004年)ミッションに専門家として非核化活動に携わる。

Biography_ Mr. Tomonori Iwamoto
・Tomonori IWAMOTO is a Fellow at Japan Nuclear Fuel Limited (JNFL) from March 2017, Prior to this position; He was the Director of Nuclear Security & Safeguards for JNFL. He started his career in 1972 at the Power Reactor and Nuclear Fuel Corporation (Now Japan Atomic Energy Agency) in the R&D division of uranium enrichment. Subsequently, he made efforts to develop and improve safeguards especially safeguards for the uranium enrichment plant, prototype fast breeder reactor Monju and the reprocessing plant in Japan. In 1999, he transferred to JNFL assumed management of safeguards and nuclear security for all nuclear fuel cycle facilities in Rokkasho (enrichment plant, reprocessing plant and MOX plant).
・He has served as the secretary general of Institute of Nuclear Materials Management Japan Chapter since January 2018.
・He was participated international forum of Hexapartite Safeguards Project (HSP) for uranium enrichment plant safeguards and the Large Scale Reprocessing Plant Safeguards (LASCAR) as the expert for establishment and development of the safeguards, that advised the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
・He served for the IAEA Action team in Iraq in 1998 as well as the IAEA inspection teams in Iran in 2003-2004 as the expert.
